Anthony Geraci is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Geraci LLP, the nation’s leading law firm dedicated exclusively to the private lending industry. For nearly two decades, Anthony has built his legal career around representing private lenders, mortgage funds, brokers, syndicators, and real estate finance professionals across the United States.

Recognized nationally for his depth of knowledge in private lending law, Anthony advises clients on complex lending structures, business-purpose loan documentation, mortgage and securities compliance, regulatory strategy, licensing, fund formation, foreclosure matters, and litigation risk management. His work has helped shape the legal and operational infrastructure behind thousands of private lending transactions nationwide.

Anthony founded Geraci LLP in 2007 with a vision of creating a law firm focused specifically on the evolving needs of private lenders and non-conventional finance professionals. Under his leadership, the firm has grown into a nationally recognized legal and strategic platform serving clients throughout all 50 states. Today, Geraci LLP is widely regarded as a market leader in private lending law, known for its innovative legal solutions, deep industry integration, and technology-driven approach to lending compliance.

Industry Leadership

In addition to his legal practice, Anthony serves as General Counsel and Vice Chairman of the American Association of Private Lenders (AAPL), the nation’s leading trade association for private real estate lenders. He was instrumental in helping establish AAPL as a national voice for the private lending industry following the passage of the SAFE Act and continues to play a significant role in industry advocacy, education, and regulatory dialogue.

Anthony is also the founder of Geraci’s conference and media platforms, including Innovate, Captivate, Elevate, Activate, and Originate Report, all of which were developed to support education, networking, deal flow, and thought leadership within the private lending industry. Through these platforms, he has helped build one of the industry’s most recognized ecosystems connecting lenders, brokers, investors, and service providers nationwide.

Technology & Innovation

Anthony is also recognized for driving innovation within the private lending industry. He is the creator and owner of Lightning Docs™, one of the industry’s earliest and most widely adopted automated loan document generation platforms for business-purpose lending. Developed to streamline legal compliance and document preparation for lenders nationwide, the platform helped transform how private lenders generate and manage loan documentation across all 50 states.

Building on the success of Lightning Docs™, Anthony later launched Automate Loan Docs, Geraci LLP’s next-generation loan document automation platform designed specifically for the evolving needs of modern private lenders. Developed using newer technology and enhanced automation architecture, the platform expands upon the original Lightning Docs framework with improved integrations, scalability, workflow efficiencies, and a more advanced user experience for lenders operating nationwide.
