Jasmine Daya
Bio
Jasmine Daya is a civil litigation lawyer with over 20 years of experience and the Chief Operating Officer of Geraci LLP. She is licensed to practice law in Ontario and Alberta and is provisionally licensed in California. Jasmine has built her career representing clients in complex insurance disputes and personal injury litigation, with a particular focus on insurer conduct, coverage interpretation, and claims accountability.
Prior to joining Geraci LLP, Jasmine founded and led JD&Co. in Toronto, Canada, where she earned a reputation as a relentless advocate and strategic litigator in high-stakes civil matters. Her work has consistently centered on protecting clients when insurers delay, deny, or underpay legitimate claims, experience that now informs her leadership role and legal strategy at Geraci LLP.
Upon joining the firm, Jasmine identified a critical and often overlooked risk facing private lenders: the erosion of collateral value caused by inadequate, improperly structured, or poorly enforced property insurance. This insight led to the launch of Geraci LLP’s Property Damage Law Division, expanding the firm’s services to include insurance coverage reviews and representation in property damage disputes arising from wildfire, storm, water, landslide, smoke, and other catastrophic losses. While developed with lenders in mind, the division also serves homeowners and property owners across California.
In her role as COO, Jasmine works closely with executive leadership to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and a client-first approach across all practice areas.

Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from Southern Methodist University. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University and later completed a Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School.
